Starbase18 exists to show that living, working and producing in rural areas can be sustainable, modern and deeply rewarding. We blend eco-tourism, regenerative agriculture, renewable energy and hands-on maker education into a living lab that reconnects people to nature, skills and each other.

Our mission is to regenerate both land and local community: turning degraded soils into fertile ground, abandoned spaces into productive hubs, and isolated lives into connected networks. We create real-world examples of how low-tech and high-tech solutions can work together to reduce ecological impact without losing comfort or functionality.
Through our eco-apartments, food forest, market garden and renewable energy systems, we invite guests and locals to experience a lifestyle that’s healthier and more resilient. With the maker incubator, coworking space and repair café, we empower people to learn, make, fix and innovate, proving that meaningful production and creativity aren’t limited to urban centers.
