Starbase18 is a place to relax and enjoy nature. Our largest apartment is the Mondego apartment. The living room is spacious and secluded. Kids can create their own sleeping quarters in the large living room or can sleep close to their parents.

The Mondego apartment is a quiet apartment in the heart of Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The apartment has a private kitchen, private bathroom and private terrace. Great for remote work (fast Wi-Fi, coworking space). Safe & fun for kids, ours often lend a toy or two. Healthy local breakfast, hiking trails for young and old, sun/shade terraces, thick stone walls for comfort year-round. Max. 2 adults + 2 kids (<13yo, baby beds available). We’re a family-friendly place that tries to keep things simple & thoughtful so also the parents can have some quality time by themselves.
