At Starbase18, we create an ecotourism experience tailored for young families who want more than just a break. You can experience a family friendly holiday that blends fun, relaxation, and sustainability. Depending on the season we offer kids and adults workshops. Check out the workshops at activities.

At the Zêzere apartment you find yourself in the heart of Serra da Estrela Natural Park. There is a private kitchen, private bathroom and private terrace with a great view. Great for remote work (fast Wi-Fi, coworking space). Safe & fun for kids, ours often lend a toy or two. Healthy local breakfast, hiking trails for young and old close by, sun/shade terraces, thick stone walls for comfort year-round. Max. 2 adults + 2 kids (<13yo, baby beds available). We’re a family-friendly place that tries to keep things simple & thoughtful so also the parents can have some quality time by themselves.
