Co-working space project
Starting from scratch, we created a professional co-working space open to guests and local residents alike. Equipped with high speed internet, desks, chairs, and a coffee machine, it’s ready for focused work or meetings. Future plans include outreach to local youth and deeper community integration.
Co-working space project
Originally, there was no dedicated space to work or meet professionally on our property. Recognizing the growing demand for remote work and wanting to support both our guests and the local community, we set out to build a proper co-working space that meets real-world work standards rather than being an improvised corner in the apartment.
We’ve now set up a dedicated room furnished with professional office desks and chairs, giving guests and locals a comfortable, ergonomic place to work. The space is connected to our 1 gigabit fibre optic internet, ensuring reliable and fast connectivity even for data-heavy tasks like video meetings or collaborative online work. To keep energy and focus high, a coffee machine is on hand, and basic office supplies are available. The room can also be used for hybrid meetings, accommodating people online and offline together.
Looking ahead, we see this co-working space as more than just desks and WiFi. It’s a catalyst for building bridges between visitors and local professionals, encouraging networking, new ideas, and sharing expertise. We plan to actively promote it among local youth to show them the opportunities of digital work and entrepreneurship, and make Starbase18 a meeting point embedded in the local community, where both guests and locals can learn, share, and collaborate.
