During summer there are plenty options to go for a swim or play in the water. In the cold seasons you can even go to the indoor swimming pool in Guarda.

There are many options to get some refreshment during the summer. For the little ones at Starbase18 we have a shallow plunge pool available. If you prefer open water, try the big lake called 'barragem do Caldeirão' only minutes away. If you like shade and the calming sound of the river, pick one of the river beaches. There are several safe and child friendly spots close by. A river beach has a dam that makes it possible all through summer. The little ones can play in the shallow waters behind the dam. Building dams is something many kids enjoy.
At the lake you can also get a cold drink or something to eat.
