Passadicos do mondego
Mondego Walkways are located in the municipality of Guarda, in a territory recognized by UNESCO as Geopark Estrela. It is a route of about 12 km, along the River Mondego, and it passes through places such as Videmonte, Trinta, Vila Soeiro and Barragem do Caldeirão. The route, of unique beauty, offers walkers breathtaking landscapes and includes crossing areas, walkways and suspension bridges.

The Passadiços do mondego has been awarded with many international tourism awards and has opened up the beautiful Mondego valley for every nature lover.
You can start the walk at the lake, midway at Trinta or at Videmonte, all just a stone drop away from Starbase18. There are taxi services that can bring you back from one end to the other.
Because the boardwalk is very popular and nature is fragile, they limited the amount of people that can access the path. Therefore it is necessary to reserve online and pay a small fee. It is not possible to pay at the entry points of the path. Employees will check if you purchased a ticket, so have it available on your phone.
